On Friday and Saturday, 48 women curlers from the Lac La Biche region and beyond competed against each other in 12 teams at the annual Ladies Bonspiel. The event, which is hosted by the Lac La Biche Curling Club, got underway Friday evening.

Young people between the ages of 13 and 18 years old are given a hangout space at the FCSS building, Monday to Friday, between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. It is free and there are not many requirements to get in.
