Three arrested after fleeing police

Three people have been arrested after fleeing police in a stolen vehicle. On May 30, at about 6:15 p.m., a member of the Bonnyville RCMP attempted to stop a stolen vehicle being driven near Bonnyville.

Three people have been arrested after fleeing police in a stolen vehicle.


On May 30, at about 6:15 p.m., a member of the Bonnyville RCMP attempted to stop a stolen vehicle being driven near Bonnyville.


The vehicle fled, and was later found abandoned in a ditch.


Officers searched the area and located and arrested a female who was suspected to have been inside of the vehicle when it fled from police.


Upon further investigation, officers learned there was also another female and male, who was believed to be armed with a shotgun, inside of the stolen vehicle.


The second female was located on a farm near Bonnyville on May 31. That same day, Bonnyville RCMP executed a search warrant on a Kehewin Cree Nation residence.


During their search, officers located the male hiding inside of a dryer.


John Vincent Fryingpan, 25 of Frog Lake, Cheyenne Harper, 25 of Onion Lake, and Danielle Fryingpan, 19, of Frog Lake, have been charged with multiple offences in relation to the incident.


Damaging property and throwing furniture ends in charges


A 31-year-old man has been charged for mischief to property after RCMP were called to a local home.


On May 29, officers responded to the call that a man was inside of a residence throwing furniture and breaking an oven.


Not in their garage


Residents woke up to a surprise in their garage on May 27.


Bonnyville RCMP were called regarding an unwanted Bonnyville female inside the garage of a local residence.


According to the caller, the female had slept in their garage overnight, and was refusing to leave.


Officers attended and charged and arrested the woman for mischief.
