KCN Contracting Ltd. would like to assure all clients of KCN Water Hauling that the water referred to in the Notice of Alberta Health was regarding an off-reserve commercial client of Kehewin Contracting Ltd. for non-drinking water purposes.
KCN Water Hauling has served its residential clients at the Kehewin Cree Nation for years without incident, and has met all federal health regulations and is working with Alberta Health to ensure all safety standards are met for off-reserve clients. No water has been delivered to St. Paul, Bonnyville, Smoky Lake, or Cold Lake and surrounding areas by KCN Water Hauling to any site for human consumption.
Due to a lack of communication between parties, the earlier notice was published for safety reasons. KCN Water Hauling confirms there are no safety risks to the public.
