Four suspects arrested by Cold Lake RCMP following collision with police vehicle

Cold Lake RCMP have arrested four suspects after a collision with a police vehicle. On May 21, at about 3:15 p.m., Cold Lake RCMP initiated a traffic stop with a stolen vehicle on the Elizabeth Métis Settlement.

Cold Lake RCMP have arrested four suspects after a collision with a police vehicle.

On May 21, at about 3:15 p.m., Cold Lake RCMP initiated a traffic stop with a stolen vehicle on the Elizabeth Métis Settlement.

The vehicle evaded police, and due to public safety concerns, a pursuit was not initiated, however the vehicle was later located on a dead-end road.

While attempting to flee, the vehicle struck the front end of a police cruiser and was demobilized.

Two people were arrested at the scene of the incident, and two additional suspects fled but were arrested later the same day.

A total of 63 charges in relation to firearms, weapons, stolen property, driving, drugs (methamphetamine) were laid.


Jodi Bork, 27-years-old from Peace River, and Tashina Napoose, 29 from Edmonton, were remanded into custody and will appear in the Cold Lake Provincial Courthouse on June 13.

Gloria Cardinal was released on a recognizance. The 29-year-old, who is also from Edmonton, will appear in court June 13.

Wetaskiwin resident Hope Crier, 19, was also released on a recognizance. Crier will appear in the Edmonton Provincial Courthouse on June 6.

As these matter are now before the courts no further information will be released.
