Cold Lake RCMP and the Major Crimes Unit are investigating the suspicious death of a male.
Yesterday, at around 9 a.m., Cold Lake RCMP responded to reports of gun fire in the English Bay area of Cold Lake First Nations.
Upon arrival, police located a deceased adult male inside of the residence.
The RCMP Major Crime Unit was called, and with the assistance of Cold Lake RCMP, RCMP Forensic Identification Services, and Police Dog Services, are continuing to investigate the incident.
An autopsy of the male has been scheduled.
RCMP are asking the public for any information, particularly from anyone that may have been in the English Bay area between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Jan. 29.
