Bonnyville RCMP investigate second robbery in 48 hours - Update

Bonnyville RCMP, with the assistance of the Bonnyville General Investigative Section (GIS), were able to successfully solve and lay charges in relation to the two armed robberies that occurred at the Liquor Depot on April 7th, 2018 and the Liquor Mart on April 9th, 2018. Through the investigation police identified a suspect and arrested 26-year-old Wallace Stuart Littlewolfe (Junior) without incident. Police executed a search warrant at his residence and seized property in relation to the offences.


The Bonnyville RCMP were also able to solve two thefts from the Sobeys Liquor Store on April 2nd, 2018 and April 3rd, 2018. It is alleged, Wallace Littlewolfe had been involved in one of those thefts. A second 24-year-old male who was also identified as a suspect was arrested and charged in relation to the two Sobeys incidents and has since plead guilty to several offences.


Wallace Littlewolfe has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:


·         Theft under $5,000.00


·         Assault with a weapon


·         Uttering threats


·         Armed robbery (x2)


·         Possession of a weapon for a dangers purpose (x2)


·         Wearing a disguise for the commission of an offence (x3)


His next court appearance will be in Bonnvyille Provincial Court on May 1st, 2018.
