Police searching for suspects

An early morning break and enter has police searching for information. A residence south of Muriel Lake was broken into early Monday morning. The suspect had their face covered, so no description is available.

An early morning break and enter has police searching for information.

A residence south of Muriel Lake was broken into early Monday morning.

The suspect had their face covered, so no description is available.

The white Ford crew cab truck involved in the incident was found by police in a ditch later the same morning (Jan. 15).

Side-by-side gone MIA

Police are investigating the theft of a 2013 Arcticat Wildcat side-by-side. It's described as black and green with a license plate of EVT40.

Family feud

A 66-year-old local woman claims her 41-year-old son, held a gun to her head.

On Jan. 8, Bonnyville RCMP responded to the call, and upon attending the residence, were met at the door by a man with a loaded gun in his holster.

Officers arrested the man and charged him with unauthorized possession of a weapon.

Oil company becomes primary target

A local oil company leasing a site from CNRL have become a target for gas and battery thieves.

On Jan. 8, the company reported batteries had been stolen.
